3 Way Smart Switch No Neutral Wire. Install Smart Switches That Don't Require Neutral Wires. No neutral wire in your switch box?
I stupidly ignored the message on the page that said 'requires Neutral wire', assuming my existing BTW "no neutral" at light switches is a very usual way of installing cabling. Because switches do not have white neutral wire connections, the neutral wires at the switch boxes are simply joined together so they pass through. Smart switches need to stay powered on at all times.
You know the drill- one turns on the light, the other one will turn off but then the first one wont turn back on unless the other one is switched, etc.
Our HomeKit remote wall switch provides you multiple ways With three-way switches, you can control one lamp with two switches, e.g.
It also supports three-way switches, which is helpful for larger rooms. Three-way switches can be wired in a number of different ways, depending on where they are located relative to the light fixture in the circuit cable runs. For an easy and safe installation, cut off power beforehand.
